When Your Blog Doesn't Even Show Up on Google --- 🌙 Hi, this is Alaris. Today, I want to share something straight from my heart. When I first started this blog, my biggest dream was to connect with people around the world. And maybe, if things went well, earn a little income through blogging too. So I kept writing, little by little, day after day. But these days, the hardest part is that there's not just no income — there are literally zero visitors. 😢 At first, I wondered why. That’s when I learned about something called Google Search Console. ⛳ I’m not someone who’s good with computers. I didn’t even know where to start. But for the past three weeks, I’ve been trying — submitting URLs, uploading sitemaps, setting up RSS feeds — doing everything I could think of. And still, my blog doesn’t show up. Honestly, it’s been crushing my spirit. When I first started, I was full of hope. I wanted to share what I was learning about the seven companies I’m studying. I wanted to share o...
The One Study That Could Change Your Life
---
I’ve never been the kind of person who loved studying.
Not when I was a kid,
and honestly, not even now.
School was hard.
Studying always felt like a struggle — something I had to survive, not enjoy.
So it’s kind of strange that life led me to work at a university.
Not just any school, but one of the best in the country.
And suddenly, I was surrounded by brilliant professors and researchers.
People who seemed to breathe knowledge.
People I genuinely admired.
And somewhere in the middle of all that,
I often felt small.

🎓 One professor, one conversation, one memory
There’s a professor I still think about to this day.
Not because of what they taught in class,
but because of what they said to me once —
on a trip to Japan. 🐈
We were traveling together for work,
along with a graduate student who had just decided to pursue a PhD in Japan.
I remember thinking,
“Wow, that’s amazing. I could never do that.”
I looked at the professor and said,
“I’ve always struggled with studying.
I admire people who can keep going no matter how hard it gets.”
And the professor replied, gently:
> “Everyone struggles with studying.
But if there’s even one time in your life
when a certain study could truly change your future —
then in that one moment,
you have to go all in.
Even if it feels like you’ll break.”
That sentence has never left me.🐈⬛

💬 The line that stayed
Even now, years later,💚
whenever I sit down to learn something —
a course, a book, even just a small challenge —
that sentence comes back to me.
> “Maybe this is the one study that could change my life.”
Maybe it won’t.
But maybe it will.
And for that small possibility,
I try again.
---
🕯️ This isn’t about being good at studying
It’s not about grades.
It’s not about degrees.
It’s about allowing yourself one chance,
one moment,
to believe that effort could matter.
The professor wasn’t giving advice that day.
They were sharing something real — something honest.
That life is hard.
That studying is hard.
But sometimes,
you’ll come across something worth giving your all.
And when that happens,
you’ll know.
---
🌱 So if you’re reading this…💓
And if you’re struggling right now,
with your studies,
with your motivation,
with believing any of this will matter —
Let this be a quiet reminder:
> One study. One decision. One moment of trying harder than you ever have —
can shift everything.
So please.
If that moment comes for you,
grab it.
Just once,
go all in.
